I searched on Google to find a way to make money as an affiliate marketer. This website is well-constructed and you spoke very clearly. You laid the foundation down for most people to understand, if they have basic reading skills. I never knew how to create a landing page until I came on this site. A whole lot is what I’m learning from this website of yours. Great Job!
There are plenty of resources online on how to learn affiliate marketing. Some are free, some are great, while others are not so good. In order to get the best training possible, it is best that you choose one of my suggested affiliate marketing courses and one that has been reviewed properly by a 3rd party. I buy all the affiliate marketing courses I review.
Hi! It s been almost 7 months i m doing research on how to become affiliate marketer and i learned so much. And now it s time for me to take action. Overall, I can’t say that WarriorPlus is a scam because by definition a scam is an opportunity that promotes something and delivers nothing. I can say they over-exaggerate in many of their offers. They’re very polluted with scammers and bad products, so if you choose to do business there, you have to spend alot of time on quality control and due diligence. As a result, I’d recommend alternative affiliate networks over WarriorPlus. Flexoffers would be my #1 recommended affiliate network so far, but we’ll see if others can offer a comparable value as I continue reviewing them.

HI Dawn. Really useful article. Affiliate marketing is something I’ve tried on and off for years but as soon as it comes to keyword research, i block. i’m blind so understanding all the information that keywords research gives you is just soooo. difficult. and i don’t know how to choose longtail keywords. As a result I’ve always stuck to direct selling but I love to write and feel sure that if i got my head around keyword research and knowing how to pick words I could make a go of this. Any advice?
Deeper analytics. One thing that sets Everflow apart from other affiliate marketing software is deep analytics. The application allows users to drill down into campaign metrics like profit, revenue, margins, conversions and clicks – all from a single dashboard. Most importantly, Everflow provides real-time metrics that make it easy to identify advertisement placements that are posting excellent and those delivering unsatisfactory results.
I read your posts and no doubt you have an amazing blog that helped me with some stuff too. However if you don’t mind I would like to discuss a little bit further on monetizing methods too. Actually, I am a young blogger, started around a year and a half ago cause I wanted to write on stuff. The only monetizing methods I accepted was Adsense which kept me going but it is simply not cutting with the quality/effort I am putting in. However, I have built a nice traffic and strong following which is the reason I want to integrate with the affiliate market now and start monetizing further than google ads.
The people that you refer too did not master amazon, they merely mastered the value they offer to visitors. If you are able to engage/connect with visitors, then you got a winner, some people merely have better skills then others, which may include offering high value content, coding/custom skills. Do you agree that these people brought something to the table? If they did not, then visitors would not continue to visit their sites, right? You can put up all the content in the world, you can get all the backlinks you want, but if you can not engage/connect with your visitors, then all is lost. These site most likely did not start off with custom sites; they started off just like everyone else, some rag/tag site. I ran across an affiliate site a few months ago, and the content on his site would just blow your mind, and let me tell you, this guy had affiliate links from all major affiliate networks, his site has so much authority that he is listed right up under amazon, and some actual product manufacturers; how did he do this? He brought solutions, and value to his visitors, he knew what they were looking for, and knows how to engage, and connect with them. If you can not figure out how to blow your visitors mind, then what do you really have to offer? His avg reviews were between 7k-10k words? how about you? 500-1000 words? at the end of the day, which site will google find more impressive, yours, or his, and i assure you, he had far more affiliate links on his site then you have on yours as you could not skip-a-paragraph without seeing affiliate links.

*Yes: As you may have guessed, the link above is my two-tier affiliate link. There are a few of these links on this site to pay me a small commission and allow me to keep this site free instead of a monthly membership site. Using my two-tier affiliate link will not affect the amount of commission paid to you with this or any other program. My commissions are paid out of the vendor’s cut, not yours.
While this was mostly good information, following your recommendation about using URL shortners got my PINS blocked on Pinterest. Well, the PINS weren’t blocked, but the links are and I am not able to change them back to my BLOG post URL. It won’t let me change the URLs back. So all of my PINS, even the ones that had thousands and thousands of impressions and get a lot of traffic are basically ruined, because then send people to a message that says ‘link blocked’ now! This is awful. I only changed everything up because of what I read in this blog! I can’t be the only one who’s experienced this. Please consider removing that information, or at least ad a caveat that using URL shortners can render any PIN you use it on USELESS! Honestly, my ears are ringing right now and I just don’t even know what to do to fix this!

This is a great example of a top notch review site. They start at the homepage notifying that they make affiliate commissions, but provide top end reviews from independent reviewers. This is great to be honest up front. In addition to being transparent, they also take the content is king strategy. I randomly clicked on their “Top Home Projector” post where they reviewed (and linked) to several high end home theater projectors. Keep in mind that these high priced items produce high commissions. That may explain why they spent the time to write a 5,000 word post on it. This site seems to do everything right in being a prime example of an Amazon Affiliate Website. This site now has over 60 staff members working for it.

Also, I read your review on Odi Productions as well, thanks so much for your opinion on his latest course affiliate evolution/passive income lifestyle. I can see how his course could be helpful, but not for the price and the content. I’m now realizing how competitive affiliate marketing and its courses are becoming, but I’m confident in my ability to research the best course and the best mentor, and your reviews are very helpful and encouraging so thank you for this!
Give it all a try yourself: As a hopelessly stubborn person, I understand that sometimes you just want to try things out for yourself. No stress, friend! All these resources will still be around later, so if your gut tells you that it’s not time to buy a course or eBook, don’t force it. Test the waters for yourself and then see later whether or not you need the extra boost.
To build your trusted brand, think about who is already in your network. Are your followers tech-savvy developers who are interested in web hosting platforms? Are you connected to plenty of parents who would be interested in reviews of toys and children’s books? Find the online businesses that sell products your audience will love, sign up for their affiliate programs, and consistently post content about those products in a way that engages your audience.
Does The Network Offer Any Add-Ons? Add-ons include up-sells, cross-sells and enhancements that your customer can opt for that will allow you to make extra commissions on each sale. Add-ons are a very common practice in affiliate marketing. Add-ons are usually presented at the time of the initial sale. These up-sells add more bells and whistles to enhance the core product. Your customers are under no obligation to buy any of these add-on items, but when they do, you get paid more.
